The Board of Directors of Ryder
System, Inc. (NYSE: R), a leader in transportation and supply chain
management solutions, today declared a regular quarterly cash dividend
of $0.29 per share of common stock, to be paid on September 16, 2011, to
shareholders of record on August 22, 2011. The dividend reflects a $0.02
increase from the $0.27 cash dividend Ryder had been paying quarterly
since September of 2010. This is Ryder’s 140th consecutive
quarterly cash dividend – marking 35 years of uninterrupted dividend
payments.
