Ryder Executive to Speak on Supply Chain Security at Border Security Expo

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE: R), a leader in transportation and supply chain solutions, will participate in the sixth annual Border Security Expo, March 6-7, 2012, at the Phoenix Convention Center. Ryder’s group director of global security, Bill Anderson, will be featured as a speaker on the panel, “Cross-Border Supply Chain Security,” during the two-day conference and expo, which is expected to draw more than 800 attendees from government and private sector entities in the security industry. The expo and conference will focus on strategies and tools for border management, including surveillance technologies, identification management, biometrics, and biohazard protection, drug smuggling and human trafficking, border infrastructure, and cross-border cooperation, among other topics.

Named by Security magazine in 2011 as one of the industry’s “most influential security executives,” Mr. Anderson has been recognized as a thought leader for helping to elevate public discussion around collaboration between government agencies and the private sector to improve supply chain security.
