Maintenance Service and 205 Tractors –

Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE: R), a leader in commercial transportation and
supply chain management solutions, announced it has been selected by
Multi Group Logistics, Inc., a premier provider of expedited asset-based
truckload service of general dry commodities based in Franklin Park,
Illinois, to provide on-site maintenance for its entire fleet of trucks
and trailers and a full service lease for 205 heavy duty tractors from
Ryder. The Ryder On-Site Fleet Maintenance solution brings Ryder’s
state-of-the-art maintenance technology and expertise right to the
customer’s location. Ryder’s On-Site Fleet Maintenance gives customers
all of the advantages of Ryder’s professionally managed vehicle
maintenance with the ease, convenience and reliability of on-site
service. Ryder’s Full Service Lease is a turnkey lease program that
includes vehicle configuration, financing, acquisition, maintenance and
disposal.

Ryder’s On-Site Maintenance facility, which will be located at Multi
Group Logistics’ Franklin Park headquarters, will service the trucking
company’s full fleet of 500 vehicles, which include the 205 heavy duty
tractors leased from Ryder, and 675 trailers. In addition, Multi Group
Logistics will be able to receive service for its entire fleet at any of
Ryder’s maintenance facilities throughout Ryder’s extensive U.S. network
of facilities. The On-Site Maintenance facility was built by Multi Group
Logistics and equipped by Ryder with the latest diagnostic technology
and computerized maintenance scheduling and recordkeeping systems. The
shop will be able to accommodate the maintenance of all of Multi Group’s
1,175 pieces of equipment.
Ryder’s On-Site Fleet Maintenance solution is ideal for companies of all
sizes and industries that need to maintain their fleets in the best
possible condition, and need quick turnaround whenever service is
required. Ryder currently operates more than 225 On-Site Fleet
Maintenance facilities in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada, as
part of its total service network of 800 facilities.
