Supply Chain Conference, jointly hosted by the Food Marketing Institute
and the Grocery Manufacturers Association, January 22-24, 2012, at the
Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Studios, Orlando, Fla. Followed
by the ProductivityPLUS Conference on January 25 for distribution and
logistics professionals, the two events will serve as a forum for
retailers and manufacturers to establish collaborations that foster

As an exhibitor at the Supply Chain Conference, Ryder’s supply chain and
fleet management experts will be on hand to discuss industry issues
impacting food and consumer product distribution, such as new

solutions, and the latest in fleet equipment technologies and
specifications.
In addition, Art Trahan, Ryder Senior Manager of Technical Support for
National Accounts, will participate in a panel on overcoming fuel
efficiency hurdles during the ProductivityPLUS Conference on January 25.
The panel will cover topics such as new technologies for mileage
improvements; wet hedging; alternative fuels; and what to expect from
the new bio-fuel requirements.
