Natalie Putnam, Vice President of Integrated Marketing Strategy &
Planning, will present at the Women in Transportation Conference on
Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at The Cable Center in Denver, Colo.
The Women in Transportation Conference, which is open to the public and
designed especially for transportation professionals, will increase
public awareness and discussion about recruiting, retaining, promoting,
and maintaining the health of women in transportation. Keynote speakers
include Sherri LeBas, Secretary of Transportation, State of Louisiana
and Marcia Ferranto, CEO, Women’s Transportation Seminar.
Ms. Putnam will discuss what attracted her to the industry; the
challenges or barriers she has faced and how she’s been able to overcome
them; the opportunities available for women in the industry; and
thoughts for the future of the industry.
As Vice President of Integrated Marketing Strategy & Planning, Ms.
Putnam leads a group of senior marketers in developing marketing plans
with go-to-market strategies for Ryder’s key customer segments. Her
responsibilities also include launching new customer solutions in the
U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Asia. Ms. Putnam possesses over 25 years of
leadership experience in sales and marketing for some of the largest
companies in the logistics and supply chain industries. She also sits on
the board of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Miami-Dade and on Ryder’s
Diversity & Inclusion Council.
