of the 17th annual Automotive
Logistics Global conference, which will be held September 20-22, at
the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center in Detroit, Mich. Ryder
Chairman and CEO Robert Sanchez will be a keynote speaker at the
Ryder-hosted Automotive Logistics Global gala dinner, where he will
deliver a presentation on the next wave of disruption, spotlighting the
different macro trends and industry disruptors affecting fleets and
supply chains today. Additional Ryder guest speakers will include Vice
President of Supply Chain Excellence Gary Allen and Vice President of
International Supply Chain Solutions Gene Sevilla.
The session titled “Dude, Where’s My Part,” which will be held on
September 21 at 11:15 a.m., will include a presentation from Mr. Allen
that will follow the global journey of an automotive part. The session
will also take a look at supply chain visibility, risk management, and
ways to identify and reduce waste. Mr. Sevilla will present at a session
titled “Making the Right Decisions about Mexico” on September 21 at 4
p.m. The presentation will explore the important challenges and
opportunities presented by a growing marketplace in Mexico and the
disruptive influence it has on U.S. logistics.
